Recently we have noticed that there are companies posting on social media under the name “Simply Shutters.” We would like to assure you that there is only one legitimate Simply Shutters in the UK.

We (Simply Shutters Ltd) are a small, family run business based in Brandon, Suffolk. We specialise in the manufacture and sale of external, decorative, timber and maintenance free synthetic window shutters. We do not sell interior shutters. We also stock more than 3000 interior wooden louvre doors for sale. Although we have been in business for over 22years we did have a very modest beginning. Life for Simply Shutters Limited started in the garden shed of company directors Paul & Carol Millar. The business became so busy they needed to find premises. In 2001 new premises were found in South Oxhey, Watford and in 2006 the business moved again to its current larger premises (8000 square feet) in Brandon Suffolk.

We do not have premises or branches elsewhere and Brandon in Suffolk is the only location for the business in the UK. We have no advertised sub-contractors or tradesman working on our behalf in the UK or elsewhere. We do not have any sign written vehicles. In short if you see Simply Shutters anywhere else other than in Suffolk it is NOT us!

Over the years we have come across people using our name on social media platforms. This concerns us deeply because customers might think they are dealing with us but they are not. We feel it important to mention these points as we have worked for many years to build an excellent reputation within the industry and nationwide and have many happy and valued customers. We will not accept any responsibility for the conduct of other businesses attempting to trade under our name.  

Simply Shutters is a registered Trademark. Trademarks are often displayed as ™ or as ® next to the name of the company. These symbols denote that the name is trademarked and offered with protection under UK law. Geographical area exceptions do apply so it is possible to have a Simply Shutters Inc in the USA (there are a number across different US States) as well as in Australia and any other country worldwide that will each have their own trademark regulations. We are not affiliated with any overseas business of the same name. For the UK it is solely us. Therefore, anybody found using the name Simply Shutters is doing this illegally and breaking the law with all the consequences that entails.
